Evil Eye Charm For Protection

An evil eye charm gives protection against harm. This is the reason they have been worn for hundreds of years - as a talisman against someone turning the evil eye upon you.

These charms are actually difficult to find as single charms - they all seem to be in evil eye bracelets. Now with many charms you can often adapt the ones made for pendants but with the evil eye they rarely look as good on a bracelet. The reason being that the reverse side of them (which on a pendant is lying against your skin and hidden) is not attractive as it often shows the hollowed out eye shape.

The ones below are all either made for charm bracelets or have a reverse side that is suitable for a bracelet.

The best way I think for making up your own unique bracelet is to buy several of the evil eye bracelets and remove the charms you want for your own bracelet.

I have no idea why they aren't made for bracelets more - no problem buying a ready made bracelet or pendants or rings or even earrings but the individual charms are as scarce as hen's teeth!

IMPORTANT

Chosing a charm is so much fun.

No matter where you buy your charm there are three things to always check so that you avoid disappointment.

Always check the actual written size of the charm you chose. Most are shown larger than the actual size so you can see the detail.

Always check the attachment so you know whether you can immediately attach it to your charm bracelet or whether you will need to get a jeweler to do it - or learn how to attach them yourself.

Always check what metal the charm is made from. Some charms come in a variety of metals and the image may not accurately show your choice.
