Leprechaun Charm Luck

Leprechauns are usually portrayed in Irish folklore as cobblers (shoemakers) with a solitary and surly nature. Now Ireland is home to the faery folk who buried their treasure as a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and the leprechaun with his unsociable nature was believed to be the perfect guardian of these pots of gold.

To keep the gold safe, the leprechauns are believed to race back and forth from one end of the rainbow to the other, forever moving their pot of gold to avoid it being found and stolen.
